Itinerary
- Day 1: Just spent the late afternoon walking around and then dinner
- Day 2: Private city tour for 4 hours in the morning and then did some sightseeing on our own
- Day 3: Jewish tour of the city for 4 hours in the morning and afternoon sightseeing on our own

To See
- St. Stephen’s Basilica
- Hero’s Square
- Opera House
- Parliament building (You can go in but the line is often very long- we saw it at night and during the day. I highly recommend going around that area at night and walking around near the Danube River)
- House of Terror
- Buda castle (and changing of the guard)
- Liberty Square (Szabadsag Square)/Soviet War Memorial and controversial holocaust memorial statue
To Do
- Szechenyi thermal baths (Must do!) – we just did the main outdoor baths, not the special indoor ones
- Go to the top of Gellert Hill (to the Statue of Liberty)- you get an amazing view of both Buda and Pest
- Pinball museum- 140 pinball machines to play (a little bit outside the city)
Jewish things to see
- Dohany synagogue
- Kazinczy synagogue
- Rumbach synagogue
- Shoes on the Danube
- Glass House (safe house for Jews during the Holocaust)
Eats
- Make sure you try chicken paprikash while you are there
- Gelarto Rosa- gelato in the shape of a rose! (near St. Stephen’s Basilica)

Bars
- Szimpla Kert- original ruin bar- MUST SEE/DO
